The clinical condition known as metabolic syndrome encompasses a constellation of metabolic abnormalities that act synergistically to sustainably increase the risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other systemic complications. This study aimed to analyze the current scientific evidence available on strength training programs and mind-body interventions for postmenopausal women with metabolic syndrome. A systematic review of studies published in PubMed database was conducted, following PRISMA guidelines by including articles from quartiles 1 to 3 according to SCImago Journal Rank. Data were extracted on the duration, frequency, intensity, and the main components of metabolic syndrome addressed (blood glucose, blood pressure, lipid profile, adiposity, and body composition) in the interventions. This allowed the results to demonstrate that strength training programs showed significant improvements in lean mass, insulin sensitivity, and visceral fat reduction; while mind-body therapies achieved positive effects on blood pressure, lipid profile, and inflammatory markers (p < 0.05). Together, both modalities reduced cardiometabolic risk factors and improved quality of life. It is concluded that strength training and mind-body therapies constitute effective and complementary strategies for managing metabolic syndrome. Therefore, from an educational perspective, their integration into training programs promotes health literacy, emotional self-regulation, and the prevention of chronic diseases.
